ROLE BRIEF

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with Labor laws. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and manage all employees’ full payroll cycle
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports. Monthly EMP201, including EMP501’s yearly.
  • Manage compensation and benefits administration.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Support employee relations and provide conflict resolution.
  • Oversee performance management, including appraisals and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Address and resolve employee grievances and disputes promptly.
  • Represent the company at CCMA hearings, ensuring fair practices and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Lead HR-related projects and initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Finance responsibilities: Capture daily Sales booking forms on Pastel, create monthly tax invoices, monthly statements, and quotes upon request from the sales team, and capture daily Sales deals on Sales Commission Slips.

REQUIREMENTS

  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an HR management role.
  • Experience in Sage Payroll & Pastel.
  • Strong knowledge of Labor Laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.
