SENTECH, a premier provider of electronic communications network services to the South Africa’s broadcasting and communications industry, will be speaking and showcasing OTT Multiscreen Video delivery via DVB-T2, DAB and e-Connect Services at AfricaCom from 13 – 15 November 2018 at Cape Town International Convention Centre.

SENTECH is currently trialing OTT over Satellite solution. This solution is designed for multicast content consumption over a local WIFI network which will allow end devices such as mobiles and tablets to view the content without connecting to the Internet.

On OTT Demo

SENTECH in partnership with Broadpeak, a leading provider of content delivery network (CDN) and video streaming solutions for content providers and pay-TV operators worldwide, will showcase a demo of OTT video delivery via DVB-T2 networks at the SENTECH stand AVF Networking Hub/M4.

Streaming on SENETCH’s OTT platform will not only enable real-time delivery of live action across multiple screens, devices but also open new market segment opportunities for broadcasters and content creators.

DAB Demo

SENTECH in collaboration with BMW will showcase digital radio transmission capabilities and a range of new DAB+ and DRM receivers and vehicles fitted with digital receivers.

SENTECH has been involved in the DAB+ and DRM30 trials over the last few years. It ran its first DAB+ trial in 2014 and in 2017 ICASA issued the second DAB+ trial license.

E-Connect Services Demo

SENTECH powered by Spacemed will be displaying e-Connect services comprising of Video Conferencing solution, e-Learn, and e-Medicine services to offer a range of cost-effective solutions and products to businesses, educational institutions and the healthcare sector.
